This service is available to everyone with a valid government-issued photo ID, and a proof permanent address.

You can open personal chequing, savings, and US dollar accounts through the self-serve process.

No, you can't. However, you’ll need to contact your local branch to get started, as this self-serve service is currently intended for new customers only.

You’ll receive an Access Card/Bank Card by mail, sent to the address you provided during the account opening process. You can also access your account through online banking, mobile banking, or by visiting any branch or community banking centre.

No worries—this just means we need a bit more information. A representative from one of our branch locations will contact you within 1 - 2 business days to collect any missing details or documents.

You'll need a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license or Status Card. Make sure the ID matches the information provided in your application.

Yes, anyone can open an account through the self-serve option.

Currently, joint personal accounts can be opened online. For business accounts, please contact your local branch or community banking centre.
